HELLO.
I am Ashraful Islam, a Computer graduate with a fresh and enthusiastic mind inclined to a long-cherished dream of pursuing higher studies and a thriving career in research-oriented academia. Eager to learn and acclimatize to new environments, research, and projects (Go Pack!). I obtained my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from SEC, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Bangladesh in June, 2021. After Completing my graduation I joined SEC affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in October 2021. I enjoy thinking up creative ideas and solutions to problems and collaborating with others to advance and evolve ideas. I believe that a leader is also a team player.
I have been doing my research on Deep Learning, and IoT Based SmartHome Application Using IOTA Distributed Ledger Technology (Blockchain Technology). My goal is to establish a research career in Blockchain Techonology diaspore with multidisciplinary collaborations to approach problems related to IoT based Smart Home, and alleviate the problems to ameliorate the situation using Machine Learning or Deep Learning.
Apart of academics, I often actively volunteer and engage in several extra-curricular activities. I am always open to collaborative research opportunities. Contact via email or skype if anyone is interested.

▪[29/12/2022] One of my research team (Emtiasur Rahman & Abdullah Ahmed Chowdhury) got selected on the 2nd round of “AI for Bangla Competition” for there work on “A Deep Learning Approach to Detect Plagiarism in Bengali Textual Content using Similarity Algorithms.“
▪[27/12/2022] Attended & Presented paper (“An Automatic System for Identifying and Categorizing Tribal Clothing Based on Convolutional Neural Networks“) on “4TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “EMERGING RESEARCH IN ELECTRONICS, COMPUTER SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY”.
▪[18/12/2022] Attended & Presented paper (“Blockchain based Integrated Application for Forged Elimination of Hiring System using Hyperledger Fabric 2.x “) on 25th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) 2022 at Long Beach Hotel, Cox Bazar. It was a wonderful experience to meaningfully engage with international learners, educators, and peers for a day and giving presentation of the accepted paper.
